[edit] Introduction

Sarara Hoshizora is a leading character from the visual novel Magical Girl Kirara and Sarara. She specialises in long range combat. Consequently, her melee capabilities are quite poor, which puts her at a disadvantage in close combat but lethal at range.

[edit] Regular Attacks

A (Chargeable)

Sarara's melee attack. Tapping the button can produce a simple 3 hit combo where she swings her weapon arm around. The attack can be charged for a single thrust attack that knocks the enemy away. Burst mode will increase the amount of chainable hits to 5.

Z (Chargeable)

Sarara's projectile attack. She can fire 7 shots in succession before a break. Charging the attack will produce a single powerful shot with a bigger stun. Burst mode will increase the amount of chainable hits to 9.

It is possible to move while firing normal shots, but charged shots prevent movement until fired or interrupted.

X

Basic shield ability. Sarara raises a blue shield in front of her to deflect attacks. Tapping the button along with increase or decrease altitude at close range can allow for teleporting around them.

[edit] Special Attacks

S + A

Sarara arranges the blades of her weapon arm into a circle formation behind her. These can be fired individually by slowly repeating the command, or quickly inputting the command several times will fire them all at once at the target.

Blades remain in formation until all have been fired or a set period of time has passed. Gauge will not begin recharging until all blades have returned to their original position.

S + Z (Chargeable)

Sarara fires a simple laser beam at the target. The attack allows for limited aiming to the left or right during the firing stage.

This attack is chargeable, but Sarara is unable to move during this time.

S + X (Must Be Charged)

Sarara raises a shield in front of her that converts enemy attacks into health.

This attack must be fully charged. If charging stops before completion then it will fail and the gauge will need to recharge.

[edit] Ultimate Attacks

S + C

Enters Burst Mode. Needed to use ultimate attacks.

S + C + A (Burst Mode Required)

Sarara's first ultimate. She starts charging an attack while a shield is raised in front of her. When charged she will automatically fire a huge barrage of beams. Afterwards, seveeral projectiles will home in on the target for extra damage.

During the chargign stage Sarara will automatially keep the current target in her sights but will stop moving once she fires. She is also protected from attacks during this time usually, although it is possible to break through the shield.

S + C + Z (Burst Mode and No Health Bars In Reserve Required)

Sarara's second ultimate. Kirara appears on the field and launches a single projectile. If it connects this attack occurs without fail. Kirara launches her attack towards Sarara from behind, who uses the energy and combines it with her laser barrage for a powerful attack.

If Kirara's initial attack misses this move will fail.
