Minagi Tohno is a character from the visual novel AIR.
Minagi specialises in close range commbat and is notable in that she can command her friend Michiru to attack as well.
 Command List
 Basic Weak Attacks
A (also possible from dash)
A punch attack that can strike 3 times before the opponent is pushed out or range.
A low thrust with a rice coupon that can hit 4 times in quick succession.
A very short ranged swipe with the rice coupon. Due to the angle and range Minagi will almost certainly miss if the attack isn't used when she is right on top of her opponent.
 Basic Mid Attacks
B (close)(also possible from dash)
Minagi thrusts out a short distance with a rice coupon, causing damage.
Minagi swings a packed bag around. Has good range.
Minagi kneels and bows her head. The range is poor on this move.
A simple aerial kick angled downwards. Better range makes this a better aerial approach move than her A attack.
Minagi performs a sliding kick, knocking her opponent off their feet.
 Basic Strong Attacks
Minagi does a double hit with paper fans. If the first attack hits there is a slight delay before the second attack follows up. The second hit sends the opponent skyward. This attack can be move or jump cancelled on either hit.
Minagi does a low kick, knocking the opponent off their feet.
A swift flip kick. This move has good range.
Minagi dashes forward holding two paper fans and brings one fan crashing down on the opponent's head. There is a delay in this attack before she hits.
Minagi dashes forward and very quickly swings a paper fan upwards, knocking the opponent skyward. This move can be move or jump cancelled.
6C (close, ground)
Minagi shoves her opponent off their feet.
6C (close, air)
Minagi grabs her opponent, stuffs them into a basket and slams everything down hard to the ground.
44 or 66 (ground)
Forward dash is a run that covers 3/4 screen. Back dash is a spin-jump that covers 1/4 of the screen.
44 or 66 (midair)
Minagi can either air jump or air dash once before landing. Both air dashes cover almost the whole screen.
 Special Attacks
Michiru gets ready for action. Doing this removes any delay from attacks that use Michiru but makes her vulnerable to attack. Pressing the button again before using a Michiru attack causes her to go back to normal.
4S or 6S
Commands Michiru to dash a little in the selected direction.
236 + A, B or C (also possible from air)
Michiru is commanded to perform a flying kick towards the opponent. The button used determines the range of the attack. C version uses RF energy and causes wallbounce if the opponent is knocked against the edge of the screen.
214 + A, B or C (also possible from air)
Michiru performs a spinning kick, gaining height as she does so. Normally the attack is done on the spot, but if Michiru is set to ready with S beforehand then she will move up and towards Minagi during the attack.
A version has low height. B version goes higher. C version has the same height as A but uses RF energy and causes a lot more damage.
623 + A, B + C
Michiru does an upward rising kick. A version has the lowest height. B version hits higher. C version hits even higher and delivers multiple kicks but uses RF energy.
421 + A, B + C (also possible from air)
Michiru jumps up and then slams down in front of her using her head to strike with. The button used determines how far forward Michiru will jump before attacking, with C version using RF energy.
41236 + A, B + C
Minagi throws out a slow moving rice coupon that covers 3/4 of the screen.
Minagi throws out a slow moving rice coupon that covers the whole screen width.
Minagi launches a slow moving fireball that covers the whole screen and causes knockdown. Uses RF energy.
 Eternity Specials
236236 + A, B or C (Requires 1-3 bars of SP power)(also possible from air)
Michiru launches forward delivering a series of vicious kicks. The button pressed determines the amount of SP used (with A using the lowest at 1 bar). The more SP used the longer range the attack has. The attack is best used with Michiru close to the opponent but not facing the edge of the screen, otherwise she will carry on past the edge and reduce the damage done.
214214 + A, B or C (Requires 1-3 bars of SP power)(also possible from air)
Michiru does a short ranged kick that causes damage and stuns for a moment. The button pressed determines the amount of SP used (with A using the lowest at 1 bar). The more SP used the stronger the attack is. The short range makes this easy to miss with though
2141236 + A, B or C (Requires 1-3 bars of SP power)
Minagi and Michiru both start blowing bubbles that carry across the screen, rising as they move. The button pressed determines the amount of SP used (with A using the lowest at 1 bar). The more SP used the stronger and longer the attack is.
 Final Memory
222S (Requires 3 SP bars and 1/3 health remaining)
Minagi and Michiru pull out their star sand. After this stars rain down onto the battlefield causing damage. Minagi is able to move during this but Michiru can't. If Michiru is hit during this attack then the move ends prematurely.
