[edit] Introduction

Doppel Nanase is based on Rumi Nanase, a character from the visual novel ONE.

Doppel specialises in close range commbat, especially in ground combat. However, she has difficulties versus ranged and aerial opponents.

[edit] Command List

[edit] Basic Weak Attacks

A (also possible from any dash)

A punch attack that can strike 3 times before the opponent is pushed out or range.

A (crouching)

A low aimed punch that can hit 5 times in quick succession.

A (midair)

A short ranged punch aimed diagonally downward that can linked into further attacks.

[edit] Basic Mid Attacks

B (close)

A quick uppercut strike. Easily links into further attacks.

B (far)

A longer reach punch aimed straight ahead.

B (crouching)

Doppel leans forward slightly to deliver a low punch.

B (midair)

A swift uppercut jab. Mainly used against aerial foes, although the very short range is an issue.

66B

Doppel dashes and swings her arm down in a circular motion. Has to be special move cancelled to link into further attacks.

[edit] Basic Strong Attacks

C (also possible from any dash)

Doppel headbutts her opponent, with the momentum moving her forward slightly.

C (crouching)

Doppel rises up striking twice. If the first hit connects she can move cancel into anything else. The first hit is very short range though so unlikely to work at the end of a combo. Does not hit low.

C (midair)

A strong punch aimed straight down. If it connects with an airbourne opponent they are immediately slammed into the ground.

6C

A strong punch aimed straight ahead. Better range but knocks the opponent away.

662C

A dash and uppercut that sends the opponent airbourne. Can be jump cancelled for followups.

[edit] Throws

6C (close, ground)

Doppel grabs the opponent and leaps forward, slamming them into the ground as she lands.

6C (close, air)

Doppel grabs her opponent in the air and slams them into the ground as she lands. She will retain the movement direction she had when she performed this move.

[edit] Other

44 or 66 (ground)

Forward dash is basically a run. If not held then it covers half the screen. Holding the direction will continue the run to almost full screen. Back dash is a jump that covers 1/3 of the screen.

44 or 66 (midair)

Doppel can either air jump or air dash once before landing. Both air dashes cover almost the whole screen.

[edit] Special Attacks

623 + A,B or C

Doppel becomes a fiery twister to inflict damage.

A version

Doppel spins while moving forward slightly. Well suited to a combo finish since its movement maximizes hits.

B version

Doppel spins and moves forward further than A version. More suited to a surprise mid range attack to maximize hits.

C version

Uses RF Energy to dramatically increase the number of potential hits. However, Doppel doesn't move forward at all using this version, making it poor as a combo finisher as opponents are likely to be left out of range.

214 + A,B or C

Doppel eats some spicy food and uses it to breathe fire.

A version

Very fast attack.

B version

Attack lasts longer to cause more damage.

C version

Uses RF energy to extend the power and duration of the attack.

41236 + A,B + C (Capture Throw)

Doppel grabs her opponent and smashes them into the ground. All 3 attacks are rather short ranged but cannot be blocked. This move can be followed up with special commands. The initial commands for followups must be input while the opponent is lifted into the air before the smash.

A version

Has the best range but will miss opponents crouching or in the air.

B version

Designed to grab opponents out of the air.

C version

Short ranged. Doesn't seem to have any noticeable benefits.

>>236A (Floor Smash)

Performed during the command throw this will smash the opponent into the command by Doppel's feet instead of in front of her. Can be followed up with certain Eternity Specials.

>>236B

Performed during the command throw this will throw the opponent high behind Doppel instead of smashing them in front of her.

[edit] Eternity Specials

236 + A (Requires 1 bar of SP power and perform during Floor Smash)

Doppel will unleash a barrage of punches on her opponent still on the ground. Can be followed up by certain Eternity Specials.

>>236236 + A (Requires 1 bar of SP power and perform during the Punch Barrage)

Doppel ceases her attack and lifts her opponeent up. A picture outline appears followed by an explosion that flings her opponent away.

>>236236 + B (Requires 1 bar of SP power and perform during the Punch Barrage)

Doppel ceases her attack and leaps offscreen before crashing down onto her opponent.

236 + B (Requires 1 bar of SP power and perform during Floor Smash)

Doppel performs a single powerful punch onto her downed opponent. Can be followed up by certain Eternity Specials.

>>236236 + A (Requires 1 bar of SP power and perform during the Fist Smash)

Doppel envelopes herself in fiery energy and charges forward, dragging her opponent with her and causing both to crash at the edge of the stage.

>>236236 + B (Requires 1 bar of SP power and perform during the Fist Smamsh)

Doppel causes multiple explosions to erupt from the ground ahead of her, throwing the enemy away.

236236 + A,B or C (Requires 1-3 bars of SP power)

Doppel dashes forward and grabs her opponent. If successful then she causes an explosion, flinging them away. All versions can be blocked.

A version

Uses 1 SP bar. Dash cover 2/3 screen.

B version

Uses 2 SP bars. Dash covers the whole screen.

C version

Uses 3 SP bars. Dash covers the whole screen and causes a more damaging explosion.

214214 + A,B or C (Requires 1-3 bars of SP power)

Doppel causes explosions to erupt from the ground. Best used at close range to maximize damage.

A version

Uses 1 SP bar. One explosion is caused right in front of Doppel.

B version

Uses 2 SP bars. Two explosions are summoned that cover 1/2 screen.

C version

Uses 3 SP bars. Three explosions are summoned that cover 3/4 screen.

[edit] Final Memory

Automatic (Requires 3 SP bars, Final Round and 1/6 health remaining)

An unusual move in that it has no button activator. Doppel gains a boost that increases her offense, speed and SP regeneration.
